Knights of Columbus
The Solanus Casey Council 1632 is in Stillwater Minnesota and serves the parishes of St. Michael’s and St. Mary’s in Stillwater, St. Charles in Bayport, Guardian Angels in Oakdale, and St. Francis of Assisi in Lake St. Croix Beach. Membership Meetings are on the second Monday of every month. We pray the Rosary together with the Columbian Women at 7:00 pm, then begin our meetings at 7:30 until about 8:30 when we gather again for refreshments and socializing. Our officer's meeting is on the fourth Monday of every month. Our Council was established in 1912 and we currently have about 297 members from around the St Croix River Valley. We dedicated our Council to Blessed Solanus Casey on April 14, 1997. Blessed Solanus Casey was confirmed at the Church of St. Michael’s and spent many years working and living in the Stillwater area. “Do not ask for easy lives, pray to be stronger. Do not pray for tasks equal to our powers, pray for powers equal to your tasks. Then the doing of your work shall be no miracle, but you shall be the miracle. Every day you shall wonder at yourself, at the richness of life which has come to you by the grace of God.” - Blessed Father Solanus
